Cornell Accounting Association

About Us

The Cornell Accounting Association (CAA) is a student-run organization dedicated to providing Cornell students with valuable resource and training for a career in accounting.  The club’s success is measured by the number of CAA members that achieve jobs and internships as a result of combined student and CAA efforts.  CAA regularly hosts a variety of accounting related events. These events serve as general meetings and club membership is determined primarily by attendance of events.

HISTORY

The Cornell Accounting Association was established in 2002 with the goal of sharing interest, ideas, and information about accounting. CAA is open to students of all majors who are interested in pursuing a study or career in accounting. The club strives to provide its members with the most current and complete information and support system for furthering their understanding of accounting. In the past, CAA hosted events such as informational sessions for the “Big 4” firms, workshops on the latest change in CPA requirements, and guest speaker series involving representatives from accounting graduate schools and public accounting firms.
